Stephanie Sigal, M.A. CCC-SLP, is a Manhattan speech therapist who offers oral motor therapy, speech therapy, and kindergarten prep services to children on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. She has been working as a speech therapist for 18 years, 12 of those years with families in New York City. Prior to going into private practice, she was on staff at Duke University Medical Center and NYU Medical Center.
Stephanie is a speech therapist licensed to practice in New York. She has consulted for the Early Intervention Program of Stepping Stone Day School. Stephanie is a certified member of ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) and ICDL (Interdisciplinary Council on Developmental and Learning Disorders). She is PROMPT and Floortime trained. Stephanie was selected to study oral motor therapy under the supervision of Sara Rosenfeld-Johnson, an innovative leader in Oral Motor treatment during the summer of 2006 at Talktools™ in Tucson, Arizona.
Stephanie holds a master’s degree in speech-language pathology from The State University of New York at Buffalo. She has been an adjunct professor at major universities, has supervised speech therapy graduate students, and is a four-time recipient of ASHA’s ACE Award for her commitment to continuing education.
